About the three me's


Welcome! My name is Tim and this is my internet kitchen hang-out and I’m the food blogger, recipe developer, and photographer behind the blog.


This is my new chosen path. After surviving 30 years of corporate life selling bleeding edge technology; I am here, I am alive, and although my life is far from perfect, I am eternally grateful to have found something that makes me feel so complete.


I have always been a great food lover and an enthusiastic photographer and now it’s taking over my world. My corporate life gave me the opportunity to eat in lovely restaurants around the world on a weekly basis, which only highlighted the art of the possible.

I dream of one day owning my own shack/bar/restaurant, walking distance from the sea. Taking delight in serving the public the fruits of my labours. With a 90% failure rate I decided to dip my toe in the water first. I cook for anybody at every available opportunity.


 I love trying new things and testing them out with my family. Each recipe is tried and true, family-tested and approved, or sometimes not but you've got to push the boundaries. Inspired by cookbooks, other food blogs, TV chefs, and family recipes.

I try to make practical PintxoTapas recipes available on this site that can bring your family together for an informal, but amazing adventure into the world of Pintxo.


As well as writing, I work on my YouTube channel and with suppliers to produce all sorts of video content, from interviews, how-to guides and recipe guides.

Currently, I have one foot in each camp. I still sell technology by day to pay the bills, but work on my blog weekday evenings and as a chef in a local restaurant all weekend. The experience has been life-changing and has completely changed the way I approach cooking at home. Imagine if you could serve your family, friends or dinner guests; whatever you have created in 6-8 minutes! In a professional kitchen if you can’t the dish comes off the menu.


Professional cooks live or die by their “mise en place”. Preparation, preparation, preparation, well in advance of showtime. As all the dishes only really require final assembly It takes the stress out pulling everything together on time, there’s minimal washing up and you get to enjoy time ahead of the meal with your family or guests, not chained to the kitchen like a stove monkey.
